Wow! How time flies. The holidays are now over and we are back to reality. Jason is currently at Buffalo General and preparing to go to the Phillipines for 2 weeks. He'll be doing anesthesia for a bagillion surgeries for the poor and is just so excited to go and serve. He's going through a Catholic missions service. What can I say....it will be a great experience for him. I on the other hand am not sure how well we will do without him here. Mommy might need to take a vacation soon after Daddy comes back.... Ha-ha! Like that will ever happen!
Christmas eve was spent here in Buffalo with Jason's Dad. We did our traditional -McDonald's to eat and play and then bowling. The girls liked it at first, but were soon more interested in finding all of the candy machines and talking to all of the Christmas decorations. Soon they pooped out and decided to nap on the comfy bowling couches. We were here in Buffalo for Christmas morning and then drove to Jason's parents for Christmas day. The girls got so many toys that it barely all fit in the back of the van. It was like we had Santa's bag ....although it was more like 3 heavy duty garbage bags. The girls had a blast and loved being spoiled by their uncles, aunt, and cousins, and of course Nana and Pappa!
We then went to my parents for the rest of the week to spend time with my brother and his kids. Chloe and Lily were in their glory. There days went like this...Wake up, play, get dressed, play, eat, play, eat, play, eat, play, play, sleep, and then wake up and do it all over again. They could have cared less if we were there. They just wanted to play with Makayla and Felishia! It was a nice break for us! I'll share those pictures soon!
