House Sitting

When my mom was here we moved from the hotel to a friend's house. We were house sitting for them for about 3 weeks and enjoyed playing with their toys -especially their trampoline! Yes, I taught my girls a thing or two and they loved it! I did do some flipping...but not while anyone else was around! (Due to baby weight and center of gravity issues)! -Let's just say I'm glad that net was there!

One of the little girls that really lives there just happens to be Lily's twin!

Whenever they are together...I do a double take! Lily misses Phoebe and can't wait for her to come home again!

Lincoln did a lot of growing. I think he was 7 1/2 pounds in this picture!

Aunt Jennie, Sam, Hayden, Owen, and Griffin came to visit.

Hayden and Lincoln have a very special bond.

Lily's first time swimming without her bubble!

Chloe really likes her "almost" uncle Sam!

Lincoln's First Bath

It has become a tradition for my mom to give my babies their first bath. Lincoln liked his as much as the girls did! He fit so nicely in the bathroom sink! (at the hotel)...

The girls were so happy that the nasty thing on his belly button disappeared! This bath initiated a talk about boy parts and girl parts amongst my children. For days I felt like I was on the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie where the little boy said, "Boys have penises and girls have vaginas!" What was that movie called? I can't remember! I definitely have baby brain going on right now!

He didn't like the transfer from the bath to the towel...but was happy when he got all wrapped up. This happened in late June. (I'm playing catch up)!

Dropped Off the Planet

It has been far too long since I have blogged! We haven't dropped off the planet...we actually moved into our new house! After 5 months of being homeless we now have our furniture, our clothes, our toys, our food, and our house! I was beginning to think our belongings would never come out of storage and we'd live in a hotel or house sit for other people for the entire 3 years of our existance in Nevada. Halelujah! We have landed! Most days and nights involve unpacking boxes, painting, installing ceiling fans, organizing, throwing out junk, etc., etc.
Lincoln is great. He has started to sleep 5-6 hour stretches at night. (Thank God)! The girls love him to pieces! Chloe and Lily are so happy to have their beautiful toys and clothes back! Unpacking boxes has been like Christmas for them!
I will be homeschooling Chloe this year...basically because Nevada rules suck. We've joined a homeschool group and I will be teaching art once a week to the older students. Both girls will be taught by other moms on Tuesdays and Thursdays. (I'm very excited about that)!
It is way too hot here. I miss the rain and the cooler temperatures, but love the sunshine! I love that I can walk to church!
