Our friend Carolyn came to visit us during her vacation.
We enjoyed having her here for four days!
Heidi was one of Carolyn's missionaries who happens to live here too!She came to take Carolyn up to Salt Lake for General Conference.

My 4 year old with bangs! -Now if I can only keep her from thinking it's okay to cut her hair every time I turn around. I keep finding clumps of hair everywhere! We might have to get a short hair cut again if she keeps it up!

Jason was one of the first people to introduce her to the Gospel!
We dragged Carolyn to the Valley of Fire with a ton of other kids.
She was my extra set of hands. The other moms wanted to have a Carolyn
too!
We hiked around for awhile.
Played in the sand.
Chloe had a great time with her best friend Brooklyn.
Lily loved hangin' out with Madelyn.
"Mouses' Tank"
This is just before the wind started to pick up. It blew so hard...we were happy to pack up and go home! I ate some sand that blew into my sandwich, Lincoln had some on his banana, Chloe almost got blown off the mountain she was climbing, Lily almost blew away on our trip to the outhouse that caused major gagging and of which, she refused to use, and Carolyn's shoes kept leaking sand for the next two days.

It is such a different world there isn't it? So much sand, heat, and rock. It must be crazy for the western NYers to get used to. That's awesome you got together with Carolyn. Happy Easter. We miss all of you guys.
